WHAT DOES THIS SCHOLARSHIP INCLUDE?

Tuition for the full weekend program (i.e., workshops, recording, photoshoot, performance)
Housing for 4 nights

Flight to and from Nashville

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

We are not looking simply for talent, but rather for women who are ready to take their artist career to the next level and are willing to be authentically true to themselves. We are selecting the recipient based on ability, signs of artistic potential, and passion for their music and a career in the industry. They are a team player, willing to support and empower those around them, and have a desire to learn, collaborate, and grow.

WHAT’S THE DEADLINE AND WHEN WILL I FIND OUT?

Applications are open to any female artist who is 18+ in the United States. Deadline to apply is Friday, August 19, 2022 at 11:59pm CT. The selected recipient will be notified via email by August 26th.

Our weekend experience is specifically tailored to female developing artists (18+) who want to get hands-on experience in the music industry and build REAL Nashville Industry connections. Women’s voices in the music industry have been historically overshadowed. NEW ROOTS provides artists with practical resources to develop a new generation of passionate, empowered young women.
